K-Cup ® Packs are more easily available than the Vue ® Packs and cheaper too. Questions and Answers Q: The brewer seems to be straining when it is brewing? A: It is a little harder to push water through a K-Cup. We have not found this to be a problem except that it does not push as much water through the brewer as you program it for. You need to program it for about twice as much liquid as you want. Q: What type of coffee should I use? A: In general, very fine. The coffee used in Vue ® Packs is almost an espresso grind. Q: Can I reuse a K-Cup and use the My-Cap, My-Lid, or My-Foil solution? A: No. Q: What is this product made out of? A: The main cup is made out of Polypropylene. The K-Cup adaptor is made out of polypropylene. The coffee basket is made out of polypropylene and stainless steel mesh. Q: Will this adaptor work with Keurig® 2.0 brewers? A: No, we are sorry it will not. It will only work with the Vue brewers. Q: I can not get the brewer to brew with this unit? A: If you are just using the adaptor to use k-cups in the brewer, you can try using it without the top. It works fine without it in that mode. If you are trying to use it with the coffee grounds filters, you can try wiggling it and holding the lever down to see if that works. The mechanism that detects that the unit is closed is kind of sensitive.
